5 Use a pencil to check
whether the pump
wheel right at the
back of the pump
housing can turn. (It is
normal for the pump-
ing wheel to turn
jerkily.) If the pump-
ing wheel cannot be
turned, please con-
tact the After Sales
Service.

Put the cap back on
the emergency emp-
tying hose and place
the latter back in its
seat. Screw the pump
fully in.
Cleaning the water inlet filters
If the appliance takes long to fill with water or
doesn't fill, the starting button indicator light
blinks in red. Check if the water inlet filters are
blocked (see chapter "What to do if..." for
more details).
Proceed as follows:

Turn off the water
tap.
Unscrew the hose
from the tap.
Clean the filter in
the hose with a stiff
brush.
Screw firmly the in-
let hose back onto
the tap.

Unscrew the hose from the appliance.
Keep a rag nearby because some water
may flow.
Clean the filter in the valve with a stiff
brush or with the piece of cloth.

•Screw the hose
back to the appli-
ance turning it to
the left or the right
to suit the installa-
tion. Tight the lock-
nut correctly to
prevent water
leaks.
Turn on the water
tap.
The dangers of freezing
If the appliance is exposed to temperatures
below 0°C, certain precautions should be tak-
en.
Turn off the water tap.
Unscrew the inlet hose.
Place the end of the emergency emptying
hose and that of the inlet hose in a bowl
placed on the floor and let water drain out.
Screw the water inlet hose back on and re-
position the emergency emptying hose after
having put the cap on again.
When you intend to start the appliance up
again, make sure that the room temperature
is above 0°C.
