5. Loosen the

drainage

channel

from its rest-

ing position

at the bot-

tom of the

appliance,

push it in ac-

cording to

the illustration and put a bowl under

the outlet where you can collect the

water.

6. Carefully scrape off the ice when it

starts to thaw. Use the provided plastic

scraper.

7. When all the ice has melted, clean and

wipe the cabinet dry, then put the

drainage channel back in place.

8. Switch on the appliance.

9. Reload the previously removed food in-

to the compartments.

Important! Let the appliance run on the

highest settings for some hours so that it can

reach the sufficient storing temperature as

soon as possible.

Warning! Never use sharp metal tools

to scrape off frost from the evaporator

as you could damage it. Do not use a

mechanical device or any artificial means to

speed up the thawing process other than

those recommended by the manufacturer. A

temperature rise of the frozen food packs,

during defrosting, may shorten their safe

storage life.

Periods of non-operation

When the appliance is not in use for long

periods, take the following precautions:

1. Disconnect the appliance from electrici-

ty supply.

2. Remove all food.

3. Defrost, if foreseen

4. Clean the appliance and all accesso-

ries.

5. Leave all doors open to prevent un-

pleasant smells.

If the cabinet will be kept on, ask somebody

to check it once in a while to prevent the

food inside from spoiling in case of a power

failure.

What to do if…

Caution! Before troubleshooting,

disconnect the power supply.

Only a qualified electrician or competent

person must do the troubleshooting that is

not in this manual.

Important! There are some sounds during

normal use (compressor, refrigerant

circulation).
