Problem Possible cause Solution

The emergency cap for emptying

has not been replaced into the filter

or the filter has not been properly

screwed in after cleaning action.

Refit the emergency cap for empty-

ing or screw the filter fully in.

The door will

not open:

The washing programme is still run-

ning.

Wait the end of washing pro-

gramme.

The door lock has not been re-

leased.

Wait a few minutes until the door

indicator light goes off.

There is water in the drum. Select drain or spin programme to

empty out the water.

The appliance

produces an un-

usual noise

The transit bolts and packing have

not been removed.

Check the correct installation of the

appliance.

The support feet have not been ad-

justed

Check the correct levelling of the

appliance.

The drain pump could be blocked. Check the drain pump. (See "Clean-

ing the pump" for more details).

Unsatisfactory

washing results:

Too little detergent or unsuitable

detergent has been used.

Increase the detergent quantity or

use another one.

Stubborn stains have not been trea-

ted prior to washing.

Use commercial products to treat

the stubborn stains.

The correct temperature was not

selected.

Check if you have selected the cor-

rect temperature.

Excessive laundry load. Reduce the laundry load in accord-

ing to the "Washing Programmes

table".

After the check, switch on the appliance and

press the button 5 to restart the programme.
