place a bowl on the floor and place the
end of the emergency emptying hose into
the bowl. Remove its cap. The water
should drain by gravity into the bowl.
When the bowl is full, put the cap back on
the hose. Empty the bowl. Repeat the pro-
cedure until water stops flowing out;
clean the pump if necessary as previously
described;
replace the emergency emptying hose in
its seat after having plugged it;
screw the pump cover again and close the
door.
What to do if…
The start of the appliance does not occur or it
stops during operation.
First try to find a solution to the problem (re-
fer to the table). If not, contact the service
centre.
With some problems, the acoustic signals
operate and the display shows an alarm
code:
- The appliance does not fill with wa-
ter.
- The appliance does not drain the
water.
- The appliance door is open or not
closed correctly.
Warning! Switch off the appliance before you do the checks.
Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance
does not fill:
The water tap is closed. Open the water tap.
The inlet hose is squashed or
kinked.
Check the inlet hose connection.
The filter in the inlet hose or the inlet
valve filter are blocked.
Clean the water inlet filters. (See
"Cleaning the water inlet filters" for
more details).
The water tap is blocked or is furred
with limescale.
Clean the water tap.
The connection of the water inlet
hose is not correct.
Check the inlet hose connection.
The water pressure is too low. Contact your local water authority.
The door is not properly closed. Close the door firmly.
The appliance
does not drain
the water:
The drain hose is squashed or
kinked.
Check the drain hose connection.
The drain filter is clogged. Clean the drain filter.
The connection of the drain hose is
not correct.
Check the drain hose connection.
